A Senior Lecturer at the University of the West Indies, Dr. Andre Haughton, says the government needs to make moves to help lower the cost of living for Jamaicans.

Dr. Haughton says sustainable job creation is one major area the government must improve.

Dr. Haughton cited the country’s fall in GDP per capita since 2019 as a weak point for the government.
