President of the Medical Association of Jamaica, MAJ, Dr. Leslie Meade, says Jamaicans should remain on high alert in protecting themselves against Covid-19.

Dr. Mead says there is potential for the situation to worsen.

He insists Jamaicans maintain basic hygiene practices to protect vulnerable groups.
