A man has been charged with murder in relation to a quadruple murder in Little London, Westmoreland that occurred late last year.

Charged is 26-year-old Ryan Letsman.

Head of Westmoreland Police, Superintendent Lansford Salmon confirmed to our news center that charges were laid on Friday. He says Letsman will be placed before the courts early next week.

According to the police, the four people were murdered on November 23 last year. Dead are 32-year-old Alwin Clarke and his wife Susan Clarke, who’s a Swedish national.

31-year-old Wayne Thompson from a St Elizabeth address and an unidentified man was also murdered.

Reports from the Little London police are about 6:47 on the morning on November 23, they were alerted to a fire at a four-bedroom house.

The police and fire department responded to the blaze that destroyed the dwelling. During cooling down operations, the charred remains of the people were discovered.
