An argument over the Finance Minister’s reference to Opposition Leader Mark Golding as ‘Massa Mark’, sparked a walkout of the House by opposition members.

Moments after the reference, South West St. Andrew MP, Dr. Angela Brown-Burke rose on a point of order.

But her strong response to a sotto voce comment from the government benches, got her into trouble with House Speaker Marissa Dalrymple-Philibert.

The House speaker directed Dr. Brown-Burke to withdraw what she said was un-parliamentary language.

Dr. Angela Brown-Burke, Member of Parliament for South West St. Andrew.

She was preceded by the Leader of Government Business, Edmund Bartlett.

The PNP Caucus walked out shortly after, leaving Central Westmoreland MP, George Wright, as the lone occupant on the Opposition benches.
