Racecar driver, Fraser McConnell, credits team effort for his first place finish in round eight of the Extreme E Championships in Italy, on the weekend.

Driving for X44 Vida Carbon Racing team, McConnell took the lead early in the race.

McConnell’s clean start proved to be decisive as Team X44 remained unchallenged throughout the round, with teammate Cristina Gutierrez bringing the car home clear of Mikaela Ahlin-Kottulinsky after taking the wheel at the mid-race driver change.
