MP for West Kingston, Desmond McKenzie is appealing for calm following the shooting death of 26 year old Ricardo Medley.
Medley of 23 Elgin Street in Denham Town, was shot by the police around 2:30 this morning.
Residents allege that he was killed in cold blood.
But the police are maintaining that Medley was shot after an altercation with the lawmen.
Mr. McKenzie says he’s helping to coordinate the submission of eyewitness reports to the Independent Commission of Investigations, INDECOM.
