Effective Today Mental Health Services at the Linstead Hospital in St. Catherine will be relocated to the Bog Walk Health Centre in the parish.
The Accident and Emergency Department will also be relocated to the Maternity ward at the hospital on Sunday, while maternity services will be temporarily relocated to the Spanish Town Hospital
This is in preparation for the renovation and expansion of the Linstead Hospitals A and E department slated to begin next week monday r
When completed the department will have additional space for waiting area, parking area, nebulization station, and examination bays.
The project will last for approximately 12 months and is being funded by the National Health Fund at a cost of approximately 76-million dollars.
