The Metrological Service of Jamaica is monitoring weather patterns in the South West of the Caribbean that could become a storm in the next five days.
Duty Forecaster at the Met Office, Javed Hudson, says the weather conditions are not threat to Jamaica at this point in time.
Mr. Hudson says if it develops into a tropical storm, the assigned name will be Epsilon.
Mr Hudson says heavy rains and thunder storms will continue for the remainder of the week.
