As the race for PNP President is narrowing, party Vice President, and Member of Parliament for North West Manchester, Mikael Phillips says he’ll not be offering himself as a candidate at this time.

Mr. Phillips confirmed his intentions in an interview this morning with Nationwide News.

Mr. Phillips says he’ll be signaling at a later date which candidate he’s supporting.

He says at this time it’s best to put the party ahead of his own ambitions.

Another potential aspirant for the post  PNP Senator, Norman Horne, has also signaled his intention not to run.

He cited the short time span to the November 7 date for the leadership election as his reason.
