Nationwide News understands that a number of Jamaica Urban Transit Company, JUTC-staff members have been interdicted and the Police Flying Squad called in to conduct a major criminal investigation at the state owned bus company.

The Police were called in after it was discovered that bus parts, valued at millions of dollars, are missing.

The revelation of the missing parts was made following the completion of the JUTC’s June to September quarterly review.

Our sources say it was discovered that three turbo chargers have disappeared.

Thirty-nine guide lights which are located along the side of the buses, are also missing

Yesterday, all staff members in the JUTC’s Central Storage Department were interdicted.

JUTC Managing Director, Colin Campbell, has confirmed the incident.

Mr. Campbell told our news center the matter has been turned over to the Police Flying Squad.

AND … JUTC Board Chairman, Garnett Roper, says an internal probe is also underway.
