Minister Charles Jr. calls on youngsters to help senior citizens

Social Security Minister Pearnel Charles Jr. is calling on younger people to help senior citizens navigate the most vulnerable moments in their lives.

The minster was speaking with Nationwide News Monday evening, on the occasion of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day.

Minister Charles Jr. says seniors could benefit from young people’s vigilance, particularly with online transactions.

Meanwhile, Minister Charles Jr. says maintaining close relationships with older people offers the best protection.
