National double sprint champion, Shericka Jackson, is excited about winning the 100 and 200 metres at the Wanda Diamond League final in Eugene, Oregon, on the weekend.

Jackson posted 10.70 seconds to win the 100 metres on Saturday, she returned the following day to clock a meeting record of 21.57 seconds to win the 200 metres.

The back-to-back 200 metres World champion, says winning both Diamond races was one of her goals from 2022.

Jackson says she’s not dissapointed that she didn’t break the Florence Griffith-Joyner’s 35-year-old 200 metres world record of 21.34 seconds.
