The Mona School of Business and Management has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Jamaica Business Development Corporation, JBDC.

The signing signifies a strategic partnership expected to boost entrepreneurship and Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises through the provision of resources to the school.

Executive Director of the Mona School of Business, Dr. David McBean, says this enhanced partnership will see more joint projects between the school and the JBDC.

Dr. McBean says he expects the partnership to help graduate students who’ll have to conduct practical projects and solve real issues in the world of business using their studies.

Dr. McBean says small businesses remain an important source of job creation and employment not just in Jamaica.
