The National Water Commission, NWC, has published a new water supply schedule for several communities in the Corporate Area.

The new schedule sees some communities receiving water every five days.

That’s twice in a week.

Other communities will receive water no more than three times per week.

Some of the affected communities include, Hope Pastures, Mona Heights, August Town, Liguanea, Hope Roads, Gordon Town, Papine, the UWI and Tavern.

The President of the NWC, Mark Barnett says the new measures will be revised at the end of this week.

We’ll have more on this developing story in our cover story.
