Nationwide News understands that the mother of missing social media influencer, Donna-lee Donaldson has been hospitalised.
Sophia Lugg, who has led a campaign for justice for her daughter, was reportedly admitted to hospital following the steady deterioration in her health since Donaldson was reported missing.
When contacted this morning, a relative confirmed with our news centre that Miss Lugg was in hospital.
It’s not immediately clear what her condition is.
During a protest last week at the Constant Spring Police Station, Donna-lee’s uncle revealed that her mother had been rushed to the hospital.
Constable Noel Maitland, Donaldson’s boyfriend, has since been arrested in connection with her disappearance.
The relatives were unwilling to comment on his arrest.
