Member of Parliament for South East Clarendon, Pearnel Charles Jr., says the damage in the parish has been profound and far-reaching in the aftermath of Hurricane Beryl.

He says there was similar damage in Lionel Town and widespread flooding in Rocky Point, a coastal town.

Mr. Charles says farmers in his constituency and across the parish have also lost crops and livestock.

MP Charles says a priority now is to have electricity restored and roads cleared.
