Japan’s Naomi Osaka made easy work of American Jennifer Brady to win the Australian Open.
The world number three seed won the finals in Melbourne, Australia, defeating the world number 22 to claim her fourth Grand Slam title.
Osaka is now unbeaten in her last 21 matches and has extended her record of having never lost a game in a Grand Slam after making the quarter finals.
Osaka and Brady’s battle was even in the first matches until the Japanese pulled away in take the set 6-4.
Osaka then blew away her competition in the second set, running out to a 4-0 lead that she never looked like giving up. She eventually won the set 6-3 to take her second Australian Open crown.
On the men’s side, top seed Serbia’s Novak Djokovic will face world number four, Daniil Medvedev of Russia in the men’s final tomorrow.
