Jamaica’s under-21men’s lacrosse team opened their campaign in the World Championships with an impressive win in Ireland, today.

The Jamaicans beat Latvia 14-nil.

This was the country’s first win at a men’s junior Lacrosse World Championships.

The under-21’s are Jamaica’s only lacrosse team to win their opening game of a World Cup.

Jamaica will return to action on Saturday when they take on the hosts nation, before going up against Germany, on Sunday.
