Newly elected president of the Cricket West Indies, Dr. Kishore Shallow says as head of the regional governing body he intends to work closely with the territorial boards to improve the fortunes of West Indies on and off the field of play.

Dr Shallow, a cricket administrator from St Vincent and the Grenadines, was elected un-oppose during the CWI’s Annual General Meeting at the Coolidge Cricket Ground, on Saturday.

Dr Shallow, the former vice-president of the CWI, replaces Richard ‘Ricky’ Skerritt in the role.

Azim Bassarath, the head of the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board, was elected vice-president.

Dr. Shallow says his administration will serve on four pillars.
