Former national player, Jonathan Newnham, is excited about the performance of the players at the two-day United States Travel Advisors Golf Tournament at Sandals Golf and Country Club in Upton, St Ann.
The team of Scott Austin, Pete Drab, Megan Sams, and Damon Spady won the two day tournament, with scores of 58 on each day for a final tally of 116, a record 26 below-par.
Newnham, who is the director of golf at the facility, says the winners earned a place at the Global Travel Advisors Golf Tournament set for Sandals Emerald Bay, in The Bahamas, from the October 10-14.
