Executive Director of National Integrity Action, NIA, Professor Trevor Munroe is welcoming the announcement that the Integrity Commission Bill will be tabled in parliament next week.

The announcement was made by Justice Minister, Delroy Chuck in an interview with Nationwide News yesterday.

The Integrity Commission bill seeks to establish a single anti-corruption agency with investigatory, information-sharing, and prosecutorial powers.

It also aims to include important checks and balances to ensure procedural fairness for those under investigation.

Professor Munroe says he hopes the Minister honours his commitment.
