Chairman of the Electoral Commission of Jamaica, Dorothy Pine McLarty, says no formal report has been made to the Commission about vote buying in this year’s general elections.

Her comment follows allegations by the JLP’s Campaign Director, Mike Henry that the authorities have turned a blind eye to vote buying tactics by the PNP.

But Mrs Pine McLarty says no formal report has been made to the ECJ.

Mr. Henry claimed last night that he has submitted potentially incriminating evidence to the Electoral Office of Jamaica.

But Mrs. Pine McLarty says the ECJ is unaware of any such submission.

Repeated efforts to contact the PNP’s General Secretary, Paul Burke were unsuccessful, as his mobile phone rang to voicemail.
