The West Kingston Commission of Enquiry failed to sit today, as some witnesses who were due to give testimony, indicated that they’d be unavailable.

Those witnesses, are being represented by the Tivoli Committee.

The Commission also broke early yesterday, due to the absence of scheduled witnesses.

Meanwhile, the Secretary to the Commission, Maria Jones, is denying media reports, that today’s sitting was cancelled because of the failure to adequately prepare for the testimony of three members of the Jamaica Defence Force.

The three soldiers are set to testify that they saw up to eight police personnel, killing unarmed civilians inside Tivoli Gardens during the May 2010 operation to capture Dudus.

They’re expected to testify from a remote location, in order to protect their identities.
