The National Water Commission, NWC and the National Commercial Bank, NCB, have signed a billion dollar agreement for the funding several of sewerage projects islandwide.
In the initial stage, the financing mechanism will see to the rehabilitation or replacement of existing wastewater facilities or the construction of new facilities at Boscobel, Elletson Flats, Dela Vega City, Blackwood Gardens, Lionel Town, Hughenden, Acadia, and Bayfarm Villas.
NCB General Manager, Mr. Brian Boothe, who signed on behalf of NCB said the bank was pleased to collaborate with the NWC in providing an essential service to Jamaica.
