Uncapped opener Mikyle Louis is set to make his international debut as West Indies announced the starting eleven for the first Test against England at Lord’s, starting on Wednesday.

Louis is the first player from St. Kitts and Nevis to wear the maroon colours.

Captain of the West Indies, Kraigg Brathwaite, says other youth players should use Louis’ achievement as a motivation.

Meanwhile, all-rounder Jason Holder, who missed the Test series in Australia earlier this year due to other commitments, will return to West Indies’ playing eleven.

Holder will bat at number six.

Brathwaite says the Barbadian is an asset to the team.
