Opposition Calls on Govt to Address Drought Conditions

Opposition Leader Portia Simpson Miller is urging the Government to address what she says are chronic drought conditions affecting some sections of the island.

Mrs. Simpson Miller was addressing a media briefing this afternoon shortly after the Opposition’s shadow cabinet meeting.

Meanwhile, Opposition Spokesman on Finance, Dr. Peter Phillips, is renewing his call for the Government to clear the air regarding the plan to increase the income tax threshold.
