Opposition MPs walked out of the House of Representatives this afternoon as they intensified the political heat on the Simpson-Miller administration over the controversial prison deal.

The Opposition MPs left the chamber after the National Security Minister rejected strongly a call from Opposition Leader Andrew Holness, for him to commit to parliament that the Government would abandon negotiations of the prison deal.

But Minister Bunting rejected the Opposition Leader’s demand.
