Though there is still with no clear idea of when or if top flight football will resume in Jamaica for this season, Professional Football Jamaica Limited continues to rack up sponsorship for the Jamaica Premier League.

This morning two more Corporate Entities signed on as club sponsors, bringing to 8 the number of sponsors in that category and moving the organisers to 80 percent of the 100 million dollar target.

Restaurants Associates Limited through it’s Burger King brand and Trade Winds through it’s Tru-Shake brand were announced as the newest sponors at the Jamaica Pegasus this morning.

Burger King and Trade Winds now join Yummy Bakery, Jamaica Producers Limited, Indies Pharma, Wata, Jmmb and Mount Pleasant Academy as club sponsors while Telecommunications provider Digicel is the presenting sponsor to the tune of 200 million dollars.

The Ministries of Health and Sports and the JFF are scheduled to meet shortly with the aim of getting the new season underway.
