Former Finance Minister, Dr. Peter Phillips, says he’s not impressed by the 5-percent economic growth target over the next four years that has been set by the newly appointed growth czar, Michael Lee Chin.

Dr. Phillips says the previous administration had a 2-percent growth projection for this year alone.

Dr. Phillips says he’s hopes that the growth of the economy will exceed the projection.

Mr. Lee Chin said yesterday that he wants to help facilitate the Jamaican economy to grow by 5-percent over the next four years.
