Prime Minister Andrew Holness says he’s cautiously optimistic that the country’s economy will grow, as several sectors continue to recover.
The Prime Minister says so far projections are indicating a positive outlook.
The Prime Minister says despite the pandemic, the construction industry has recorded three consecutive quarters of economic growth.
He noted that the current outlook for the tourism industry is also progressing.
Mr. Holness says the government’s efforts in managing the pandemic have resulted in a rebound of the economy.
He noted that the recently relaxed Covid-19 restrictions will also allow the economy to thrive.
