Nationwide News understands that Prime Minister Andrew Holness is to hold high-level bilateral talks with United Kingdom Prime Minister, Theresa May.
Our sources say the bi-lateral is to take place tomorrow at 10 Downing Street.
Prime Minister Holness is in London to attend the Commonwealth Heads of Government Conference.
He’s the only Caribbean Head of Government who’s scheduled to have a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister May during the conference.
Mr. Holness will be joined in the bi-lateral by Foreign Affairs Minister, Senator Kamina Johnson Smith.
Our sources say issues of trade, immigration and national security are on the agenda.
The bi-lateral comes as there’s mounting concern about the deportation from the United Kingdom of thousands of Caribbean nationals, including Jamaicans.
A meeting between several Caribbean Heads of Government and senior officials of the UK Government is to take place after the bi-lateral between Prime Ministers Holness and May.
Mr. Holness is also to participate tomorrow in a panel discussion which will feature billionaire American business tycoon and founder of Microsoft, Bill Gates.
