Two aspiring Vice Presidents of the Opposition People’s National Party are lashing out at Central Manchester Member of Parliament, the JLP’s Rhoda Moy Crawford, as appearing mentally challenged, a bench warmer, a Minister of nothing and a bamboo fire which will soon burnout.
Richard Azan and Ian Hayles delivered the withering attack on the 32-year-old MP during a PNP constituency conference in Central Manchester on the weekend.
Miss Crawford is viewed by some as a rising star in Jamaican politics following her defeat of PNP bigwig, Peter Bunting, in the September 2020 General Elections.
But Azan told comrades that Miss Crawford is a bamboo fire who appears as if something is not right with her upstairs.
While Hayles blasted constituents in Central Manchester for replacing Bunting, who he praised as a former Security Minister and successful businessman, with Miss Crawford who he described as a bench warmer and Minister of nothing.
Richard Azan, former MP for North West Clarendon and before him former West Hanover Member of Parliament, Ian Hayles.
Both Azan and Hayles lost their seat in the September 2020 General Elections.
The men were recently nominated to be Vice Presidents of the PNP.
Meantime, Mr. Bunting also addressed the constituency conference.
Bunting told comrades that many of the PNP Members of Parliament who were defeated in the General Elections were hard workers and lost because of the swing to the Andrew Holness-led Jamaica Labour Party.
Peter Bunting.
