The candidate selection exercise which was scheduled to begin this morning in Damion Crawford’s East Rural St. Andrew constituency has been postponed until October 4.

The runoff was originally scheduled for this Saturday, with Sabbath keepers penciled in to vote today.

But Nationwide News understands that a new date has been communicated to comrades by PNP General Secretary, Paul Burke.

Mr. Crawford is being challenged by businessman, Peter Blake.

There are approximately 500 registered delegates in the constituency.
