A man implicated in the murders of five homeless people in Ocho Rios, St Ann this year has been arrested by the police.

Head of the St Ann Police, Senior Superintendent Dwight Powell, says the suspect in the matter was apprehended in Ocho Rios on Thursday.

SSP Powell says the suspect will be charged with murder.

Meanwhile, SSP Powell is appealing to anyone with information surrounding the murders to contact the police.

Recently, 25-year-old Ronaldo Ricketts was charged with the murder of five homeless people who were stabbed to death on the streets of St. James.
