Two men were arrested by the police on Sunday morning, following an attempted robbery in Braes River, St. Elizabeth.

Reports from the JCF’s Corporate Communications Unit, CCU, are that about 3:45am, the complainant, who operates a bar in Braes River, was told that his establishment was being broken into.

He went to the premises to check but was met with gunfire.

The alleged shooters fled in a Toyota Voxy motor vehicle.

The driver was taken into custody.

According to CCU, a team of officers soon intercepted the Toyota Voxy car in Elim in the parish.
