The police continue to chase leads in the murder of social media influencer, Donna-Lee Donaldson.
This despite the arrest and charge of her boyfriend, Constable Noel Maitland, for her death.
Deputy Commissioner of Police, Fitz Bailey, says investigators have been very guarded due to the sensitivity of the probe.
Donaldson was reported missing to the police on Wednesday, July 13.
DCP Bailey revealed that the police believe Donaldson was killed sometime between 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm on Tuesday, July 12.
But, DCP Bailey says he’s uncertain as to how she was murdered.
The police are also alleging that Constable Maitland may have been assisted with the disposal of Donaldson’s body.
But, despite an extensive search they’ve yet to locate her remains.
Meanwhile, the deputy commissioner once again made it clear that there’s no evidence linking the mother of Maitland’s child, a fellow member of the force, to the crime.

Meanwhile, Commissioner of Police Major General Antony Anderson says the Donna-lee Donaldson incident involving a member of the Constabulary, is another case of tragedy associated with interpersonal conflicts.
Major General Anderson says it’s also critical to highlight the challenges police face when conducting investigations in an atmosphere where fake news abounds.
