Police Commissioner George Quallo says he intends to retire in August.

He made the disclosure this morning during his first interview for the year on Nationwide’s ‘This Morning.’

The Commissioner says he’s almost at the age of retirement.

Commissioner Quallo has been serving in the top police post for the past 9-months. His appointment took effect on April 18 last year.

If he retires in August, he’ll be one of the shortest serving Commissioners in recent times.
