The police are warning against a fake message making the rounds on social media which claims five people including a policeman, have been arrested in connection with Sunday’s daylight attack on a Beryllium security team in Portmore, St. Catherine.

Head of the Police Corporate Communications Unit, Senior Superintendent, Stephanie Lindsay, says mischief is at play.

Three security guards were shot and injured in Sunday’s attack, as the gunmen fled with $23 million in cash.

SSP Lindsay says the police are still knitting the case together.
