Minister of Finance, Dr Nigel Clarke, says rank and file members of the Constabulary have signalled their intention to accept the government’s latest wage offer.

The Finance Minister says more than 95-per cent of public sector workers have now indicated acceptance of the latest wage offer.

According to the Finance Minister, by the time the last public sector group signs up to the deal on the table, history would have been made.

Meanwhile, the United District Constables Association, UDCA, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Finance accepting the latest offer.
