Two of the country’s most wanted men have been shot dead by the Police in the past 24-hours.
In one of the incidents which occurred this morning, Debroy Vernon was killed during a gun fight in Parry Town, St. Ann.
Vernon, who’s otherwise known as Peboo is from the Mansfield area of Ocho Rios, St. Ann.
A Policeman, who took part in the operation, is in hospital this afternoon nursing gunshot wounds.
Head of the JCF’s Corporate Communication Unit, CCU, Superintendent Stephanie Lindsay says Vernon was wanted for murders committed across two parishes.
