Two men have been charged in connection with recent killings in sections of West Kingston.

Head of the Kingston West Police Division, Superintendent Howard Chambers, told Nationwide News this afternoon that the two were among the 13 detained yesterday during an operation in Denham Town.

The operation followed the shooting of a 5 year old girl and four other persons in the area between Sunday afternoon and Monday morning.

A fifth victim succumbed to his injuries yesterday morning.

Superintendent Chambers says several persons were also taken into custody today.

Meanwhile, Superintendent Chambers says eleven persons detained yesterday are still being questioned.
