Nationwide News understands police sick out is continuing for a second day.

The sickout is part of a protest by rank and file members of the Jamaica Constabulary Force who are again disappointed in the wage offer placed on the table yesterday by the Finance Ministry.

The Police Federation that is negotiating on behalf of the JCF members were again presented a 6-percent wage offer spanning over two years.

At least one Police Commander says rank and file members in his division didn’t show up for work.
