Nationwide News understands that a major Police investigation is underway into an incident in Manchester where a Police Constable, who sought to arrest a gunman at a party, was stoned by some patrons and his head bashed in.

The Constable was then executed with a gunshot to the head.

He has been identified as Constable Kirkland Plummer.

Reports are that about 9:30 last night, the Constable was driving his private motor vehicle along the Harrow Main Road when he heard explosions coming from a nearby ‘dance’ and went to investigate.

Upon the Constable’s arrival, he reportedly observed a gunman with his weapon and attempted to disarm him.

During a tussle between the Constable and the gunman, the gunman was shot and injured.

Some patrons responded by throwing stones at the Constable. The Policeman was then mobbed and his head bashed in by patrons.

A shot was then fired into his head and other areas of his body. The Policeman died on the spot. It’s not immediately clear who fired the fatal shots at the Constable.

The gunman who was injured in the tussle with the Constable was taken to the Spaulding Hospital where he died while being treated.

The gunman has been identified as 27 year-old Dwayne Schloss.

An illegal Browning Single Action 9 millimetre pistol was taken from Schloss.

The Police Constable’s 9 millimetre Smith and Wesson Pistol was recovered from the scene by investigators.

The incident is generating outrage among sections of the Constabulary and the law enforcement community in general.
