The North-East Regional Health Authority says effective today, the Port Maria Health Centre will be temporarily closed for three weeks, to facilitate the relocation of the services offered.
During this period, services offered at the Child Health Clinic for children up to five years with appointments to see the nurse, will be done at the Port Maria Dental Clinic beginning next Tuesday, August 18.
Additionally, services offered at the ante-natal clinic will resume at the Port Maria Dental Clinic next Thursday, August 20.
Emergency cases will be seen at either the Port Maria or Annotto Bay Hospitals.
All other clients are being asked to visit the nearest Health Centres at Oracabessa, Islington or Highgate to access health care services.
The North-East Regional Health Authority apologizes for any inconvenience caused.
