President of the Private Sector Organization of Jamaica, PSOJ, Keith Duncan, says the organization is ready to assist in finding solutions to protect the country’s women and children.
Speaking on Nationwide this morning, Mr Duncan says measures are being put in place to help both women and children.
The PSOJ boss says the organization has also been advocating through civil society groups.
Mr. Duncan says the PSOJ has been working with the Ministry of National Security to enhance the layout of CCTV cameras across the island.
According to the PSOJ, the inclusion of more cameras will support the work of the security forces to quickly identify and apprehend criminals.
Mr Duncan also noted that the Stay Alert app is still a solution to ensuring the safety of women.
