Host of Sports Nation Live, Leighton Levy, says Elaine Thompson-Herah should be honored to be short listed for the World Athletics female Athlete of the Year Award.
Thompson-Herah has been named among the ten athletes from which the Female athlete of the year will be decided.
She was undefeated in seven 100-metres races this season and ended the year with the fastest time in the world 10-point-85 seconds done at the Rome Diamond league.
Levy says while Thompson-Herah has very good accolades the quality of the other nominees is just too great for her to win.
