UK based immigration lawyer, Jennifer Housen, is calling on the Government to reject the offer from Britain, to contribute 25-million-pounds-sterling or 4-and-a-half billion Jamaican dollars, towards the construction of a maximum security prison.

Ms. Housen, who’s a Director of the Caribbean Legal Practice Institute, says the Simpson Miller administration should accept no less than 1-hundred-and-25-million pounds towards the construction project.

Ms. Housen says the British Government spends only 27-million-pounds each year, on the 3-hundred Jamaicans now serving time in the UK prison system.
