The opening of sports in Jamaica could be a lot closer than expected, and could be made even clearer tomorrow.
The Ministries of Health and Sports are meeting tomorrow to advance the road map for implementing the safe return of sports locally.
Following the meeting, the Ministry of Sports will then conduct a series of meetings with the various sports associations to determine when the various sports disciplines can resume some of their activities.
Minister of Sports, Olivia Grange, says tomorrow’s meeting of the two Ministries will be the second in less than a week.
They met on Monday and reiterated their commitment to move quickly to finalise the general protocols for sports that create a balance between, health, well-being and safety.
Minister Grange says several decisions were taken following Monday’s meeting.
