Dancehall artiste, Bayka, was arrested and briefly detained on Friday during night one of Reggae Sumfest for repeatedly using profanity on stage.
An appeal was made by Sumfest co-host ‘Boasy Boy Floyd’ for the artiste to desist from using expletives.
However, the warnings were ignored.
Bayka was called off stage moments before his performance was set to be completed.
The artiste was taken to the police post on the festival grounds and later released without being charged.
This is the first time the 21-year-old is performing at Reggae Sumfest.
