National Security Minister, Dr. Horace Chang has decried the killing of Police Constable, Damien Blair.
The 41-year-old policeman was shot multiple times in the head by his 33-year old wife at their home in Somerset, Manchester, Monday night.
It’s also reported that the wife used a hammer to inflict further injuries to the Constable’s upper body.
The policeman’s wife, who attempted to commit suicide by slashing her wrists, remains in hospital under police guard.
Dr. Chang says support will be extended to family members.

Meanwhile, Minister Chang says the state has been providing benefits to the families of police personnel who die both on and off duty.
And the Security Minister says work is underway to procure ambulances specifically for the Constabulary Force.
